Countersinks are used to rework drill holes in constructions made of metal, plastic, and wood. Their main task is to precisely modify existing drill holes in such a way that they meet functional, safety-relevant, or aesthetic requirements. The countersinks from ALPEN are characterised when deburring and widening the drill hole in particular by the fact that their special design avoids annoying juddering when drilling. They are available as rose and conical countersinks, and for exceptional demands also with suitable special alloys at the tip.
