With the fascinating mountain landscape before us every day, we are acutely aware of our responsibility to protect the environment that forms the basis of life. One thing is clear: the activities of an industrial company always have an impact on nature. However, through thoughtful action and measures that go beyond legal requirements, we strive to keep this impact to an absolute minimum. The close connection of a family-owned company to its origins further strengthens this commitment to responsible conduct.
Sustainability as a matter of course
- Low emissions and low energy consumption thanks to short transport routes:
95% of the raw materials used in production come from Austria or neighbouring countries. - Social sustainability: 100% production in Austria secures income, social structures and training at three locations.
- Energy savings: waste heat from production facilities is used for heating via heat exchangers.
- Reduce, reuse, recycle: our commercial packaging is already made from recycled material and is itself recyclable.
- Made in Austria: production under the strictest Austrian and European environmental and safety standards, even if this sometimes means a competitive disadvantage.
